In order to actively recruit young researchers and research engineers, we will implement a "rookie recruitment" program for the first time, targeting those born on or after April 2, 1994. In principle, the costs of obtaining a doctoral degree after joining NICT will be covered by our organization.

The position not only requires high expertise in the relevant research area but must be responsible for actively conducting strategic R&D with a Mid-to-Long-Term perspective.
The position may also be involved in R&D management, overall planning of strategic research plans and in the operations management of the institute.

While having sufficient expertise in the relevant field of research will be the key factor in the selection process, the candidates' willingness to actively take part in management affairs such as promotion and management of projects as well as personnel training will also be taken into account.

Women are also eligible for the "For Women" program, which is also recruiting at the same time, so they can apply as "For Women" If you wish to apply for both programs, please check both "Rookie Type" and "For Women" on the application form.
