NICT is pleased to announce to co-host WTP 2016 with YRP R&D Promotion Committee and YRP Academia Collaboration Network from 25-27 May at Tokyo Big Sight.

WTP is one of the biggest events focused on research and development (R&D) of wireless communications technologies in Japan. In cooperation with Japanese government, industry and academia, the event brings professionals and specialists of wireless technologies together providing great opportunities for collaborative research and business-matching.

This year, the trend and the cutting-edge wireless technologies of such as 5G, IoT/M2M/Wi-SUN, Positioning, Japanese version of Industrie 4.0, Offshore/Subsea communication can be found through exhibition, seminar and academia presentations. One of the biggest attractions will be the 5G Tokyo Bay Summit® 2016, in which telecom operators and manufacturers from inside and outside Japan, will present their latest research results and trends of 5G.

We believe that you will be delightfully surprised to find now and the future of wireless technologies in 2020’s society and hope that you will make the most of this precious opportunity!
