In order to strengthen NICT’s international presence and promote a world-class standard of research, it is important to work together with top research institutions overseas and also create an internationally open research environment. For this purpose, NICT enters Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) as a basis for joint research, information exchange, joint events, researcher invitation and other activities in collaboration with overseas institutions.
We have been steadily increasing the number of international collaborations based on MOUs, and as of January 2019, we have MOUs with 97 organizations from 31 different countries and regions worldwide.
